I'm gonna jump in with both feet and invite you all to an informal playday here in Chino Hills, CA, on Saturday November 17th. I know this is short notice but the holidays are upon us and (hopefully) the rains are coming and I am trying to beat them both. My co-host is John Gardner (D4e).

My yard/shop is at a 200+ acre horse/cattle ranch and there is a pond (pic below) to be cleaned out, dam to be raised/lengthened/widened and a road to be cut. Sorry no fields to plow.

Please inform your friends that may not read this board.

I have not had the pleasure of attending a real playday yet so any suggestions are appreciated.

This playday is shaping up nicely! Mike Bouris is coming with a truckload or 2 of stuff, scrapers and maybe a pull grader. John Gardner (D4e) is bringing a lowbed full, including a "new" D4e or a D5 and Jack J. may bring his JD 40c.

I've also got a caterer lined up for a BBQ lunch.

For those with heavy toys to unload there is a JD 444 loader and a 4000 lb forklift on site.

Thanks to all that have responded. If you are thinking about it, I would like to know by Weds or so I can have a headcount for food.
