What should I look for in my 15's carb is leaking raw fuel from the butterfly shaft when I try to crank it? Is the float set wrong? Something else?

My 15 carb did the same thing. The float was worn out and was sticking. I could tap on the carb with a screwdriver and it would usually, but not always, move. I got a new one from Bill Campbell and it works fine now. Good luck!

ktmrider,

If fuel is just leaking from the throttle plate, the needle and seat are not doing their job. If fuel runs out...your float has has stuck or has saturated and sank. That's what happened to my TEN at a local show two years ago.
