Not sure you can do it off a part number.
If you find a bunch of letters like UOUMOA, this is a date code.
It is decoded

0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
N U M E R A L K O D

0 = N
1 = U and so on.

NKNDOA = 070985 = Sep 7 1985
