This event looks like a blast! I have always wanted to operate a Cat-n-can.
Are there events like this in So CA? How would someone go about hosting one, or gauging interest?

My yard/shop is on a 200+ acre horse/cattle ranch, and we have a pond that could be cleaned/enlarged as well.

Any thoughts?

Carl, if you are not familiar with a Cat-n-Can this would not have been the place to learn, these guys have a lot of experience and they had an air traffic controller out there that took the fun away if you are not familiar with the equipment:D If you are prepared to do an event like this, put the word out and I am pretty sure there will be a response.
I have had a little get together here for the last 3 years and it has always been a good turnout. No running equipment, just a BBQ and a bunch of babble:D Don
