Stole this from the YTD site......good for a chuckle:D

A cocky Department of Agriculture representative stopped at a farm and talked with the old farmer. "I need to inspect your farm"

The old farmer said, "You better not go in that field over there."

The Agriculture representative said in a wise tone, "I have the authority of the U.S. Government with me. See this card, I am allowed to go wherever I wish on agricultural land."

So the old farmer went about his farm chores. Later, the farmer heard loud screams and saw the Department of Agriculture rep running for the fence. Close behind was the farmer's prize bull. The bull was madder than a nest full of hornets, and the bull was gaining at every step.

The Old farmer called out, "Show him your card!"

They say you never learn like you learn under pressure. Today the young fellow running the 9U disking down brush and stubble on some land we're trying to clean up stopped to create an opening into another field. After he had unhooked the disk and started into the treeline to push the opening, he found a nest of yellowjackets in the ground.

What he learned under pressure was that the 9U goes forward in 5th gear no matter which way the reverser is shifted.:D I don't know how he's escaped learning that in the year he's run the tractor off an on, but he knows it now.

He's plotting his revenge in the morning, I don't plan to be around to help;)

D2-5J's, D6-9U's, D318 and D333 power units, 12E-99E grader, 922B & 944A wheel loaders, D330C generator set, DW20 water tanker and a bunch of Jersey cows to take care of in my spare time:D

I guess I've just learned the best way to deal with governmental gestapo types. I'm going to buy a bull and transplant a nest of yellowjackets LOL

Saw a sign a few years back in northern Nevada on the entrance to a mining claim. I wish I'd taken a picture of it but what was on it is engraved in my memory.

NO TRESPASSING
VIOLATORS WILL BE SHOT
SURVIVORS WILL BE PROSECUTED

Needless to say, I went no further!

Years ago when we worked on equip. in upper NE Pa.on coal strippings equip. this old house just as you enter this town was made into a beer joint & outside there was a big sign that said "IF YOU CAN,T STOP IN SMILE AS YOU GO BY" and that was back in the later 1950s so I never forgot it. I use it at the bottom of my E-mails when I send them or delete if I want to before I send them.
