anyone know what a 7g powershift trans will weigh, how much it would cost to rebuild, the best way to pull it out top or bottom, any help would be great.

You can take it out the top or bottom. If you remove it out the bottom you will have to have the Cat on blocks. I only remove them from the bottom if they have a cab on.
Rebuild price depends on what is all wrong. Start at $4500 and up, If everything is wrong just exchange it for a rebuild. They are around $6500 to $7500. the D6/D7 is a very good transmission and easy to rebuild. Done many over the years.

Be sure to get the cooler and all lines cleaned and take the torque divider out and go over it too.
