neighbors seeding with a classy D6B.....the last one at work here in Wasco Co.

Very good photos of a classic Cat. I've read that wheat prices are way up, so I expect the wheat ranchers are very happy now. GWH

98 J, Gald to see that your still standing up right. Nice looking D6B, must get a
little warm in the cab with no AC and just the blower unit. How did your wheat crop turn out? Dry land grain here in SE Idaho was short on yield this year. The irrigated boys had a good one however. I have herd white wheat up north going for $8.00.

As always great pictures!

Good to see your posts again. The wheat crop here got froze out on Easter Sunday and really did a number on it. The milo is beautiful. So far this year we have had over 40" of rain and 5.40 just since last Sat. They are going to have a bumper crop of milo around here. Now the fields are to wet to drill in. What a difference from last year. All though we did get our yearly ave. rainfall last year of 27" but it came at different times but was 2-3" at a time and not spread out over the whole year. catskinner

Hey Guys! GWH.....yup the price is way up....trust me, we (wheat farmers)
will find something to snivel about...

Woody....you are right, the swamp cooler wouldn't cut it for me....did a complete re-vamp on the AC on my own D5....I can frost ya right out of that
bad boy now!!!1:)

Catskinner! Ya little Dickens!! We are lucky to get 15" in a year....didn't
get anywhere near that this year....it just quit after February.....everything
up high (like around my place) was pretty crummy, 25 to 35......did have some
pretty fair wheat down lower, like this 70bu crop just off of US 197 about 8 miles
SE of The Dalles.....the 8010 at work with a cherry orchard & Mt Hood in the background......

.....not bad at the home place either.....the good looking one in the cab
of the 1670 is my dog Kirby.....;)
