As you all may remember I got this cat 15 off ebay about 2 years ago. Man what a project. The engine was locked up tight. Missing alot of everything. Someone put a mig shift gastank on it cropped the fenders cut the dash the radiator was gone. Then the fun had started. We pulled the engine apart and found a lot of rust. So we bored and sleeved the engine back to standerd bore recut the piston ring grooves for wider rings made new piston pins, piston pin bearings, found john deere intake and exaust valves that had a 7/16 stem diamiter and made them into the valves we needed for the engine. So the engine is pertty much new. The sheet metal......I got most of the stuff i needed form George Rankin. But the fenders I did my self. Drilled out all the old revits straightened all the angle iron and started over. Had some sheet metal rolled for the tops and I cut the inside fenders out with a jig saw. Drilled and bolted everthing together and tryed fenders on the cat before I revited them all together. What a long process. The rest of the things I was missing I just stoll from another parts machine. Every nut and bolt was sandblasted and painted befor being reinstalled. So 2 years latter here is my brother and I's Cat 15 tailseat. Finely Finished. Thanks for all the help Cat collectors. Mike and Matt
