Is there any interest or need for any Fuel / Gas Tanks For Cat 30 Short and Long, and Gas 60 Short and Long?
See photo of one reproduced in England for a fellow Collector in California.
Just looking to see if there is any interest?
Or We can pass on the proper Spec’s/Information to Fellow USA / OZZY Cat Collectors with Tin Bashing Skills.
Thanks!

i would take the specks for them as i have a basket case of a 60 and would like to get a 30 someday and with my budget i have to buy broken down and parts missing kind of cats. so most of the time i remake my own parts and would love speck rather than guessing what the size should have bean lol. nice rivets are they copper? looks good.

I have noted that the fuel tanks I have seen on both 60's and 30's have the rivited overlap joint in both directions, without any common set way, I would think the best style joint would be for the overlap to be the more rain proof way and allowing some protection from rusting, this would mean the bottom or lower section placed inside of the top lip on the rivit joint, this might be worth some thought in future constuction???

I have a new 30 tank( I do not think it was made by Cat) it is a well made piece. I took it to a friend who has a fab shop and he thought it would be no problem to reproduce them.

I had one made out here , I had the old fittings ,but I had the Starting Gas tank section made bigger ,so not to have to put Fuel in the large Tank and waste it or have it Go Off but to give me enough for a run around or a Show . It is fully riveted like the Original . LJ
