I got this one running today. It all works except it won't travel good. Starts to go then slows down and stops. Goes again after restart, then same thing. First, I can't find a serial tag anywhere. I don't know what model it is. Second, I cant find a fill port on the torque housing. Does this model have a scavenge system like a cat? Any Allis experts out there? I'll be trying to find it a new home asap but would like to know more about it. I think I have all of the removed sheet metal here somewhere. Joe

Is a 7G, might be a series B I think will have the 3500 6 cylinder engine. If turbocharged 4 cyls is a 7000 motor. They have a suction screen that gets blocked that you will need to clean, drop trans oil first or you will get wet
you will probably have to go in from the bottom; is a suction screen on front LH side of trans. This feeds 3 pumps that suck from it so you will see 3 ports leading off it. 2 go to the front for the dual steering/brake pumps. and 3rd to trans pump on top of T/C.
Is also a suction screen on RH side centre of trans, this is also to 2nd section of main trans pump and is just a scavenge pump for transmission; it returns oil to bevel gear sump. Is a pressure filter below brake pedals and 2 others for the 2 steering pumps on side of battery box covers.
Trans is same for HD6ep/HD7G/7G-B

I really appreciate your information Mervyn Pepper. Thank you! It does have the turbo 4 cyl engine. I'll get the screens cleaned and filters changed. It's too nice of a machine to leave unusable.
