The crawler being considered is a D9E with a hydraulic blade.
Yes, I like the new D9E as well. Credit goes to the Engineer on the committee and the Engineer at the manufacturer for the accuracy and detail. They did a great job.

Thanks Lee. I appreciate all the work the model committee does. It's nice to see the updates in the board meeting minutes. Can you let us know what is decided after the September 12 meeting?
Maybe you should put a cab on the D9 with the hydraulic blade if you guys go with that version. It gets cold on those open cabs!!

Hi, (Sorry I don't know your first name).
Thanks for the positive comments. I'm glad that members are reading and appreciating George's minutes. I think he does a great job of documenting the board discussions.
I will need a few days after the meeting of the 12th for the board to review the recommendation. Sometimes they have a perspective that is different from the committee. Once board members are in agreement, I will let you know.
I like the idea of a cab. We will discuss it. If not this time, maybe on a future D9. Yes, it gets cold, or hot and buggy, with out a cab.
Regards,
Lee

I too, would like to see the scraper come first. If the next model is another
D9, with a hydralic blade, please consider a inside mount cushion blade with a single ram.

Hi Chugwater Crawlers,
The committee has a recommendation before the board in the meeting on Monday night. Out of respect for the board who will be the final answer in the decision I will wait until after that meeting to reply. I trust everyone is OK waiting another three days.

Lee
