Non-Cat Dozer, Clark CA-1 Dozer Request

More

I just purchased the Clark CA-1 dozer pictured (picked it up this weekend at Rantoul) and although I have a good amount of information on it I would like more that any forum members might have pertaining to links, manuals, parts, etc. I would also like to purchase issues #77&78 of the Historical Construction Equipment Association magazine Equipment Ecohs. I had given both issues featuring the CA-1 and Letourneau D4 Tournapull to a friend who had purchased a Letourneau last year. The machine is in good operating condition and seems to be popular at shows. Thanks.

Bryan, I looked for those 2 parts machines I had seen previously, but the ad had expired. I will keep looking. That's a nice looking Airborne. I have always wanted one. I do have a small 1/25 (I think) scale model still in it's box on the shelf. :thumb:

Replied by Deas Plant. on topic Clark airborne.
Hi, Bryani289swmi.
nice catch. You might find these people useful as they seem to have a bit of a specialty going on re-machining and restoring these jiggers and the La Plante-Choate scrapers.

Happy puttering.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

My brother and I owned one. Neat little machine that is very rare. How are your rollers?

Hey Matt,

I think the rollers are ok, if you have a line on some I would be interested in finding out about them. I have the machine at the Michigan Flywheelers Show in South Haven, MI for the rest of the week. Thanks.
