I was thinking Willamette Iron & Steel Works of Portland. Oregon
Predecessor to Hyster. Really don't know;)

Does the winch have the name of the manufacturer or any other details listed on it?

This tractor was at the bottom of Australia, and it did have a plate the first time I saw it but someone removed it! regards Andrew:(

At first glance I thought the winch is a Brit made Boughton,they made winches similar to that but its so long ago since I seen one I am not 100%, Boughton made very good winches and go back to the days of steam.
