It's almost here!
My truck and trailer are serviced and ready to load. My wife and I hope to arrive by 5 or 5:30 at the show site to unload on Thursday.
What time was the Club meeting Thursday? We are staying at the host hotel and I wanted to attend.
I'm looking forward to putting faces with names! See you all there!
I'm bringing my digital camera and laptop. Hopefully...I will get to post some pictures on this board each night!

Would it be possible to get more specific directions to the convention site? West of Richmond off I-64 leaves a lot of room for error between Richmond and Charlottesville.
A Google search puts Rockville and Centerville, VA in entirely different parts of the state.
I'm sure I can find it by getting on I-64 West but if I could get some distances from the larger crossroads it would help a lot.
Thanks,
Tom

Hi Tom,
I just copied this from the website:
DIRECTIONS: The Field Day of the Past show grounds are located at the intersection of Rt. 623 (Ashland Rd.) and Rt. 622 in Goochland County, off I-64, Exit #173 (Rockville-Manakin) south. Grounds are located 1/8 mile from the interstate. Follow the signs. From the south take I-95 N to I-64 west and take Exit #173. From the north take I-95 S to I-295. Merge onto I-64W to Exit #173. From the west, take I-81 to I-64 E and take Exit #173. From those south of the James River, take Rt. 288 N to Broad Street Road West exit (Rt. 250) and go approximately one mile to stoplight at Rt. 623 (Ashland Rd.). Turn right and follow signs.
I hope that helps. See you there!
Regards,
Lee

There is no meeting planned for Thursday evening. Jeff plans to hold a general membership meeting at 10:00 AM on Saturday. Also at the banquet on Saturday evening, there will be some presentations and some announcements.
I look forward to seeing you there.
Regards,
Lee

Lee,
I was reading the ad in Issue 73 on page 5. It had mentioned that there would be a board meeting Thursday night. That was why I asked.
The 10 AM meeting on Saturday sounds good to me!
Thanks for the update and I'll see you there!

Pat, We were planning to have a board meeting Thursday evening, but with some of the directors coming in on Friday and some not able to make it, we gave up on it. I had forgotten that it was in the ad.
Have a safe trip.

Lee
