Won't get any fire? Perhaps it is the magneto. Getting spark?

If it's flooding, open the cylinder drains and let it blow out. Also check to see if the oil in it is diluted with gasoline, if so, change it now before you luck up and it starts and ruins itself due to the dilute oil.

Serious flooding,,,,,,,,,,, open up the carburetor and unstick the float and needle on the inlet from the tank.

How do you know the plugs are good if they won't fire? Ok,,,,,,,maybe they are new and that probably means they're good.

Take the kill wire loose on the mag to make sure that isn't the trouble. You can always cut off the fuel to stop it.

still no spark,,,,,,,,,,

clean and adjust the points in the mag to about 15-20 thousandths.

It should throw a spark about 3/8 inch to the block if you can spin it pretty good.

1-get the spark
2-get the fuel
3-got compression????

Still won't fire up, maybe swap wires on the mag cap just to check if someone got it backwards.

What's it in?

D2-5J's, D6-9U's, D318 and D333 power units, 12E-99E grader, 922B & 944A wheel loaders, D330C generator set, DW20 water tanker and a bunch of Jersey cows to take care of in my spare time:D
