you could get a nice return by renting that fixture out to all of us who want to add the electric start feature. Many thanks for all the great pictures. Super solution to a very hard to access spot.

If you want to farm out your template it's ok by me.
Made the decision a long time ago that I didn't want to spend my retirement in the starter conversion business and its associated hassles. To many other things to do.

with the magneto parts available in Chicago, and a new carb installed 4 years ago, we are keeping the pony motor on our D7 17A18692. I really can't see the advantage of going to elect start if the machine is going to be worked. Seems like sitting is the number one reason for pony to be neglected and go out of service.
