Hello Chapter 12 Members,

I hope all is well as i believe most if not all member's have been very busy.

Just to give you an update on the work days at Carthage for the 100 Years of progress Show. Please make plans on working the first weekend of every month for August, September and October. That will be 8-4-18, 9-1-18 and 10-6-18, not sure what task we will be doing at the moment but we sure had a great time in fellowship last year as well as getting lots done for the show.

I would also like to schedule a plant tour of the Deere-Hitachi Kernersville, NC plant where they make large excavators, what month works best for you for this plant tour as well as a day? (most likely will have to be a weekday)

On another note i would like to find someone to take over as the Chapter 12 president. I founded this chapter 10 years ago and i would like to see some new leadership. I feel the chapter is not growing as it should under my leadership so at the beginning of 2019 i will be stepping down as the chapter president. I will be more than happy to help anyone make this transition into this position by offering my help for any amount of time needed.

The reason that i have decided to make this change is my responsibility's are ever increasing at work, home and the other boards in which is serve. My time is very limited with my focus being my kids, before they are all grown up and moved away.
I hope you all understand and i look forward to working with whom ever is willing to take this leadership position.
