On October 28th Chapter 4 will be having a meeting and cookout at Bill Crawford's place just off the IL River. Bill passed a couple of years ago and his wife a couple of years ago. Their Daughter invited the chapter and friends to come look at the equipment that will be coming up for sale. Bill always had a picnic for member so members could see his collection. Call me if you are planning on coming out My phone is 262-215-4310
Thanks
Terry

Barring Cold Rainy weather this Fall there was a Good turnout for this Event!
The people that showed up were impressed with the variety of equipment and other items.
The Caretaker was gracious enough to sell a few small items for Bill's daughter.
There is talk of an Auction occurring in the Spring which should be interesting as there are a few unique and rare pieces of Equipment!

Thanks Jeff, this was a two gold event. The first was we used to have a picnic at Bill 'a in June and this will be the last one since both Bill and Helen have passed on. Because of this the collection will be liquidated. Offers wee taken in some pieces yesterday. Some small items sold.
A good time was had by all I think.
More later

We had good food and fellowship at the Crawford estate last Saturday. Of course Bill was not there to put Peanut shells in people's pockets.
We had Chapter 4 members, Chapter 20 members, some HCEA members and some guys who like old iron. Mostly small items changed hands and some offers are being figured on larger pieces. One large piece is changing hands the Cat 16 grader will be heading to Wisc. One of the bigger crawlers may change hands. There will be a auction next year, but if any one would like to preview what is there I will put something on the for sale section.
