Hello all,
Chapter 20 has a few events in the works for 2016.
"First off we will meet on Saturday, February 27 at the Archives Building in Mossville, IL. In the morning there will be a tour of the archives. We will have lunch at a place to be determined. After that there will be a business meeting. At the meeting there will be an election of 2016 officers and discussion of future activities. More information including directions will be sent at a later date.
Kay Meeker, Chapter 20 Secretary
309-464-5343"
Please contact Kay if planning on attending this event.
Secondly Wednesday May 25th Chapter 20 has been asked to set up our equipment for Springfield, Il Altorfer Caterpillar's open house of their new facility on Wabash Ave. We are in the planning stages of this, but we do need a count of machinery that can show up. Please contact me at <a href="This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it." target="_blank">This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you are available on this day and what you can bring out. This is a great day to to show off your Cat pride and promote the Chapter.
Thirdly we have many shows on the schedule to set up at and promote the club.
-Carlinville Macoupin Co. Historical Society has two dates that I will be setting up at, May 28th &29th is their Spring Strawberry Festival and September 17th & 18th are its Fall Festival.
-July 8,9,10, 11 is Historic Farm Days at Penfield, Il sposored by the I & I ANtique tractor and Engine club. This show has been kind enough to give us space and a tent to set up in as well as an established play area.
-Also July 29, 30 and 31 we will set up in Greenville, Il for Farm Heritage Days. THis show is featuring Cletrac crawlers but has invited us Caterpillars along as well. This show is right of I-70 and Rt. 40 and is a newer show in the State with room to grow.
Please mark these dates on the Calender and keep your ears out for more to come. Hope to see allyou Chapter 20 folk (and others who what to tag along) out on February 27.

For all you guys wanting to bring you Cats out to the Altorfer Springfield, Open house on May 25th, it is still a go. I went by last week and got confirmation that we can bring our toys ip the day before if it would be easier on all. Again they are now located off the Wabash/Curran exit of I-72 on the south western edge of Springfield. We have a nice line up so far with my #4 Hi-way patrol, Don Henley's 20, Dave Tallon's 10, and Billy Irvin is bringing the Decatur's Factory D6c with rubber tracks that they use for a tug around. Have quite a few more maybes, so if you can join the fun in promoting ACMOC and Chapter 20 please den me an email at <a href="This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it." target="_blank">This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and i will add you to the list. If it all works out I may have an unveil there.
