looking for the dimensions on a pump lifter gauge

I didn't think the pump would fit on the drive tang the wrong way. Always heard the tang and slot were offset, but I don't know for sure.

I know the common RoosaMaster/Stanadyne rotary pumps WILL install either way on the drive tang, have done that myself.

D2-5J's, D6-9U's, D318 and D333 power units, 12E-99E grader, 922B & 944A wheel loaders, D330C generator set, DW20 water tanker and a bunch of Jersey cows to take care of in my spare time:D

after a better inspection you are correct it can not be install but in one position.

I made a base for my dial indicator and a drilled block with which to establish a "zero" point on the dial, then used the depth mic method.

I know this is an old topic, but does anybody have the numbers for a D4400 engine? It is on a 4G series D4. I don't really want to assume that they are the same.
