Do you have a track pin press? Turned pins and said to yourself, "I am never doing that job again!" Well, you're in luck! We are looking for a track pin press. That will do D2-D6 size track pins. Original caterpillar tooling is a plus! We need something with the push pins and everything. Let us know.

Thanks all!

Aaron, hold out for the real thing. Engine mount on trailer and racking. There must be some around. My neighbor had one but he moved to WA state and died.

CTSnowfighter reminded me of "Ben's Track Service" which was located north of me. Ben is still alive, but the business was sold 10? years ago, and I am not sure what became of the stationary track press inside the building. The phone number might still be listed somewhere. The man that took over was the one that did the new tracks etc. on my family heirloom D4C. Happy hunting. JM

Miller Track Service in Modesto is gone now too I believe. They were Berco dealer for many years. I would guess they had more than track press set up to turn pins and bushings. But press could well be in the area yet.

Thank you everyone for the help. Here is what we ended up with:

We called everyone under the sun. Looked for someone to press them......none found. Looked for used on facebook, Craigslist and ebay.....none found. Talked to US and Canadian sources......prices 8k and up. Ended up buying a 120ton system new on Amazon, yes amazon. Spent about 5k. We will post a video with it later this fall. I have high hopes for this press. We will see!

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
