I have an eisemann key switch that I want to use on my cat ten project but I'm missing the key. If anyone has one to sell or knows of reproduction keys being made please let me know.
Thanks
Rob

The best source for keys thus far has been Dwight Pletcher. He has retired and is not able to make the keys any more. I was honored to be able to buy out his remaining inventory. I have filled my back-order list and have few left over. First come first serve. 307-760-8483

Hey Gilbert! Sorry for the delay in replying, busy day in the shop! Anyways, here you go. For reference purposes this picture shows a nice original key (not for sale) and a reproduction key.

Thanks for your reply and the pics, the repo key is nice work for sure.
I'm familiar with the later switches eg 22 and so on, how many early cats had your switches with what i call the (Micky mouse ears) pardon the pun keys?
Gilbert.

Chad;
What price do you have on the keys? I am in need of one for my 30.

Thanks,
Rodten

Sorry Rod, pending payments all are spoken for.

Anyone wanting to get in touch with me calls, texts or emails are best. The private message feature through the BB is by far the most inefficient method of communication, maybe slightly beating out brail. My stupid box is always full and replying is painfully slow. Sorry to those who cannot communicate with me the easy way and missed out. Rant over. 😊

Chad,

Dwight Pletcher is a wonderful guy! I bought some sprockets for my TEN from him. Got to stop by his place and see his workmanship first hand. He is the real deal! I always enjoyed talking to him over the phone. I hope he is doing fine in his retirement.

Pat, I could not agree more. They don't get much better that Dwight. He seems to be doing good well. He did tell me that in due time he will be selling off his cats. I am sure those in his local chapter might know more about that. If I hear anything I will let everyone here know. Have a great weekend!

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
