Okay, I started messing with my D7 3T dozer and I finally got the side cover off the main engine, from behind the electric start for pony engine and am in need of another cover before I can find out if there are other leaks in the old beast...
Cover part number is 6B4005 .
At present, I could just take a flat piece of metal and cut and drill 12 hole in it, but I think this cover was designed to be a weak link just in case it did freeze and freeze it did...
don't think I want to try welding it... 😉

If you have one laying around, please leave a message... Thank you, Jerry

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
