I am needing a parts manual for a D2 4U2791. Called Finney Parts and they only have a parts manual for 4U6*** and up, will this work for mine?

not exactly, its newer serial numbers machines. get a 5u or 4u in your serial number range. 5u will work close enough because it only means a wider tractor. look on ebay and search lowest price.

rockymnt---your 4U is a 1950 year. i do have a 5U Parts book that covers 1947 to late 1953. the 1950 serial #'s are 5U4204 to 5U6671 of which should cover most of your machine---i myself use a late 5U parts book for my late 4U machine. so if you can't find the exact parts book for your 4U I could look up what you need in my 5U book---I believe the only things different are the final drive and housings that make the 5U wider.
