Just out of long term storage, 1957 IHC T-6 61 series with a Bucyrus Erie blade.
I am the third owner. All three owners have lived within a two mile radius.
Original paint, appears to never have been repainted. Side panels are still in primer, with IH part number stenciled on side. They probably didn't spend alot of time on the tractor.
According to the serial number list, it is the first T-6 built in '57.
Starts and runs well.
I recently replaced the clutch disc, refaced both the pressure plate and flywheel.
I've been skidding some firewood out of the woods with the old girl, and she seems to like being back in action.
The 61 series was fairly low production, only about 2500 tractors built in gas and diesel from 1956 to '59.
Feel free to give me a call with any questions.

$5500
Location: Mass City, MI (Western Upper Michigan)

Hey Rick, nice looking machine sorry I’m not in the market for it. Just wondering, do you happen to know Rick and Sherry DeHaan from Mass City? Thanks.

Hey Rick, the DeHaans are my aunt/uncle, Sherry and my mom are sisters. I probably hadn’t seen them in 20 years until a funeral for one of my uncles last year. Small world!! Thanks.

It is a small world indeed. If you ever come to visit us in the UP, I'll let you drive my Sixty around.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
