Tracks Across America was published earlier this year to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Caterpillar Inc. Written by a retired Caterpillar Inc. engineer and a retired Peoria journalist, the book focuses on the history of the company from Ben Holt's development of the crawler tractor to the introduction of the D11.
