I have a R2 6J series and I am in need of a hood for the engine. I have one but it has some issues and I was hoping to find one that maybe I could do little work to other than sandblast and paint... I know that it would be hard to find in perfect condition but at least straight (not bent) would be a start. PM me or reply to this post if you have something.

Thanks for the reply and no I never got any response or help on the hood issue. I have put a few posts up in the past on the machine needing parts but never got a hit on any successful sources. I had to go at all of it the long hard way machining parts and in regards to the hood I have probably 50 hours in it now between beating dents out straightening and welding up holes. When this thing is done it will have been a long road and I am thinking it will be restored by end of April to mid May.
