How long we should run used equipment?

Hey Everyone,

Quick question, How long do you actually run your used equipment before it's time to upgrade or replace it?

I have got some units in my yard that are still in hold and are fine but some are falling apart. The repairing may cost me more than simply let them go.

Should I invest on their repairing or replace them with other machines? Any other suggestions would be appreciated
