G'day All. Wondering whether there are any D7D parts tractors around Australia. I need an exhaust manifold, mine is cracked fairly well and tracks and rollers if there are some with a bit more life than mine. There will definately be a few more bits as I get into revitalizing my 17A16166. Thanks Kevin

Not sure of the serial numbers , but if that is a non turbo machine a 3T manifold will fit.
I have one here .

Hi Kevin, Have you tried Alan Horstmann, he knows most the Cats in S.A., N.T and northern W.A. doesn't he, it's a shame Peter typically never kept the blades of most the old Cats he bought, a Cat without a blade or hydraulics is pretty limited to what it can be used for but he wasn't planning on using them was he, just saving them, a friend over near Port Lincoln bought a nice D7 stick rake off Peter about 3 or 4 years back and put it on his 17A, I wonder if that came off your D7? That tractor got sold last year and is now up near Kimba I reckon.
regards
Mike

Yes Mike, can confirm the we rake bought came off this tractor. I remember Peter telling me about it.

The ol whistler went upto Streaky Bay and is still in regular use. We still have the rake though.

Cheers

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
