This wine rack is made from a Caterpillar track drive sprocket segment off of a 2012 Cat D6 Bulldozer. It features authentic Caterpillar Hi-way yellow paint. Another highlight of this piece is the Cat hardware . All of the Bolts, Washers and Nuts are Factory Cat hardware. The Bolts feature the Cat Logo Embossed on the head of the bolt . As for the pedestal. It is made of Oak, Which had a beautiful amber color, and that color was only enhanced when the multiple coats of satin polyurethane were applied. The two piece pedestal is joined together with a mortis and tenon joint, and also tied together with 8 custom made Copper brackets , and 1/4 inch bolts which add an esthetically pleasing look to the piece. The brackets also tie in well with the 1/4 inch copper rod used for the bottle neck rest, and bottle back stop, which are custom bent using a series of wooden molds, and a bench vice used as a press. The copper rods are inserted into 1/2 deep holes and secured with steel roll pins... The piece also features felt pads on the bottle rest, and 3/4 inch felt pads fastened to the bottom of the pedestal for added protection from scratches for you surfaces. The piece measures 17" high, 22" wide, 16" deep and weighs in a whopping 35 lbs. This piece took roughly 90 hrs. to complete. This piece is definitely geared towards the industrial themed and heavy equipment enthusiast.
This piece is up for sale on Etsy.com . Or please contact me directly through my e-mail, or message me through my facebook business page for more pictures and pricing..

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
