Antique 1953 Cat D2 Dozer, S/N 5U2517, originally owned & operated by my deceased father. He had both engines completely overhauled in about 1990 by a Cat Diesel mechanic that worked for either Holt or Ohio Cat. Dozer operated well approx. 25-30 hours after overhaul when steering function stopped working. Dozer has not been operated since mid 1990s. Pony motor will turn over when flywheel turned using a rope. Have not attempted to start. Both engine exhausts have been covered since idled. Needs some repairs & a new home.
