Hi Martin, You will have a job to find one of those in the UK, 666/660 up to 1970 used fibre glass font wings, hinged, so they could be pulled partway out over the front wheels for better engine access. I suppose a damaged one could be repaired with a glass fibre repair kit.
If that machine was used in the UK, where did it come from? I didn't think any had been imported.

Regards

Contact Al Engnes,

He has two semis full of 666 parts that he salvaged from work, his boss said to through them out. If I remember correctly he said they had over a dozen running back then. He helped me with a new steering cylinder and tie rod end for my 660. I just bought a scraper basket yesterday so now I can haul the scraper to local shows.👍 -glen http://www.youtube.com/user/7upuller#p/a/u/1/5rcmPY9gIyY

I worked with a fleet of 72 x 660 tractors but it was not in the USA or Australia, the place is in the news at the moment, where is it?

No, but its the same continent, yes it was a sight to see them lined up with 50 x Terex R70's on the other side of the park, I will have to get my old photos out but keep guessing.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
