This one sold today on Big Iron, I'll admit, I haven't kept up on prices, but was stunned by what this one brought. ($26,750) Maybe there is something special about it that I'm not seeing. Would have loved that scraper behind it, but was too much for me as well. ($6800)

Jim:

Anything can happen with an auction. If someone had advertised that sixty for the hammer price on ACMOC it would in all likelihood not have sold for that amount. After all, that is how we got a $140,000 Cat SEVENTY at the Warne Auction earlier this year.

Having said that, Chad wanted to keep the 60 and the Scraper together in WY and I commend him for keeping local history local.

Thanks Tom, I was hoping that was who got it, and good for them keeping it together. I was surprised that the second bidder was willing to go that high on the Sixty after not getting he scraper.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
