Try an EBay search, then check sold items. You can also try Auman Auctions and look at their toy auction results

If you are looking for toy values you can use the most current Dicks's Farm Toy Price Guide. You can purchase them at most local toy shows or from www.bossenimp.com.

Be certain you understand s/n versus Production dates which many companies print on the bottom using the Julian Calendar...for instance
if they were making a toy today it would say 0215 meaning the 21st day of 2015; the same date could be on one made in 2005 as they
only use the last digit of the year!!

If you are looking for information on toys produced in past and different variations with specific details there is a book out there on the Caterpillar history of toys. I will look for book and post name of it in a later post. If you have any questions I maybe able to help considering I have a collection. Also you may find interest in some magazines that are out there where others are advertising some of the same toys "Toy Truck and Construction Magazine" and "Toy Farmer Magazine".

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
