The ACMOC store has a 22 decal kit listed-perhaps it is in there or they would know if it exists?

I wonder if it was added by a local Dealer?

Judging by the observers, the dealer might have added it to be sure that prospective buyers knew what the machine was when they enquired on Monday morning : )

You can imagine demonstrations being held around the countryside and the tractor being moved from farm to farm on the back of a truck or trailer, a person following behind could see straight away that the little Cat was a "Twenty Two", Toyota did the same thing with their new 4 X 4 trucks back in the 1960's didn't they, put their name in huge letters across the back so everyone following could see what brand it was, "TOYOTA".

Hi Team,
in my Twenty Two parts book, for 2F and 1J units, in the Attachments Section is a list of "TRANSFERS"
4B1747 Transfer (Twenty-Two) is given but no size is listed--just maybe what is needed if available thru ACMOC Store's Decal Set.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

Hi Lachlan, no sorry I don't, I've been looking myself for the past few years for something to pull behind my Cats that doesn't require hydraulics, I think they call the "Rope Pull" implements but I'm probably wrong.

Not sure on brand, but the implement is a one bottom sod buster plow. For opening virgin prairie ground or grown back Forrest or prairie ground. I have one that I call "little Ollie, that is a one 20" bottom Oliver. My 22 pulls it great, but it does make it bark a bit, especially when it hits the Illinois clay seams. AND you better keep the gas can close.

I found a few other pictures that show that decal, but only a few and don't see it in the brochures. The drawing for that decal is dated Feb 1937, so I would guess it was added late in the production of the Twenty-Two. From the pictures, it looks like the patent plate on the seatback went by the wayside at the same time. I also see a decal like this for the Fifty, and think there is one for the Thirty as well. It probably got added at that time to help differentiate the last of the tractors with the HP-based names from the R and RD models.

I worked with Kent to add it to the late 22 decal kit from ACMOC years ago. Bill

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
