For some of the folks that did not make it.
The crowds were sparse, vendors as well, but we still had BIG fun. We are sorry about many that had made plans to participate, but had last minute obligations to deal with. It was apparent that the show has shrunk. No blame at anyone, as there are a LOT of other events that conflicted. On the way home I was passed by friends that belonged to the military enthusiasts group, hot rod clubs as well as an FFA advisor that had kids participating at a statewide conference at Fresno. Add the Silva Memorial truck show at Castroville, CA you can say there was plenty to do last weekend. Maybe we will see some of you next time.
Glad to have met up with some dear friends. Even this person!
A soon to be member. Scarlette loves tractors, especially mine!
The dig area was moved closer to civilization, so we had more spectators. Not too big of an area, but we found out that many of the show committee folks have been advocating for years to bring it closer. Huge thanks from everyone, as it is within walking distance and less requirements for shuttles, EMT staff etc.
Thank you to everyone that took the time to come out.
Shout out to the folks from Paso Robles (Austin Sligh and Mikey? from ABI for bringing stuff from the museum.
Skinner and his family too. He scooped up his pristine restorations before I could get too close and claim one as mine.
Stan Brannon gets a huge thanks from the entire CAFES group, as he went beyond the dig area and helped their water truck suppress the dust.
See you at Santa Margarita perhaps? Thank you all. JM
I would like to personally thank Juice Man for his generosity to all of us at this event. His beautiful restored and "work clothes" machines were awesome. A great time was had by all of us.
Thanks for posting the photo's and your herculean efforts JM. You and your fellow enthusiast (each and every one of you!) are what keeps the interest going. Sorry I was unable to attend and take some of the "well loved" (NOT!) photo's of the participants. Everyone was safe from the Long Lens this time. - cts
Another Tulare show in the books. A few less people this year maybe less equipment. Still a lot to do in 2 days. Caught up with juice man as he was loading up Sunday morning. Thank you JM for going above and beyond again this year in the dirt working area. Which was moved so more people could watch and enjoy. Steel tracks “Ray” was busy running in every direction. Thanks to The Paso Robles guys for bringing a military75 and best 30 and more. We had 3 tractors in the parade best 30, high 15 & orchard 10 and a friend drove our pete & Lowbed through. Saw old friends & new. Skinner
Thankyou to all attendees at the Tulare show! We were kept busy all weekend. A few less pieces of equipment , but quality stuff and great people that brought them. All those that participated in the Dig Area did a great job of watching out for the newbies and less experienced, sharing the area well, going round and round like a smooth well oiled watch.
