Did someone ever see the loader attachment for a d4? Looking for some information. Didn't see them in the parts books in the library?

Thanks Niels

Wow, I have never seen the "High Lift" toolbar option before! I think you have inspired me to search for some goodies for one of my TB machines now. Thank you, JM.

The leaflet nielske posted (thank you nielske) lists the HI-LIFT loader option with Balderson part numbers (BL41J, BL41K) so that could be why it's not in the Cat D4 parts books.
The only Balderson info we have in the library relates to blades.
If anyone has more Balderson leaflets (or any other leaflets for that matter) we woud be grateful if you could scan them and mail to [email protected] so we can add them to the library.
It's easy to scan documents using your iPhone. Open the "Notes" app and select the camera icon at the bottom of the screen followed by "Scan Documents".
This opens the camera and allows you to scan directly to .pdf format up to 24 pages into a single document.
After scanning all pages you can select "Send a copy" then choose Mail to send to us.
Try it, it works a treat !

Hi Deas,
Kwik ansa,
I believe there is the same functionality on android phones but as I don't have an android phone I cannot verify that.
If you don't have internet on your phone then that would be a bit more difficult. You could connect your phone to a PC with a cable and transfer the document(s) across to the PC then mail them from there.

Thanks to Deas, here is a link to the modern day Balderson company (Dymax inc. ) with some info on it's history.

The local IH dealer sold ATECO brand dozers and toolbars back in the 1950's here. They had a loader bucket for use with a toolbar. A neighbor had one on a TD9. He was talking of selling but wanted a high price for a old Cat let alone a old IH.

My limited computer skills don't bring anything much on ATECO. Other than a newer company from Australia dealing in used military trucks. And a Thailand company with heavy duty washing machines, and other non earthmoving equipment.

But there some early D8H's that show up with hinge rippers with ATECO molded in the toolbar.

Hi, Ray54.
We have a 966C loader with an ATECO ripper. They also made small drawn scrapers.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
