Looking for help with an O ring on a tool bar hydraulic cylinder. Part #1H8128 I ordered it from Cat but it is definitely not correct. Any help is appreciated.
Hi, [email protected].
If you can get the ram off - or the fitting which houses the O-ring - and take it to a hydraulics repair shop, they may well be able to help you. After all, hydraulics are 'spozeta' be their business.
Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
note when oring are used as seals they often flatten out. what is it sealing? but like deas suggests your local hydraulics service should be able to help you. whats the cylinder rod like? it is cheaper to make new rods from brite chrome bar bar then to have the the originals rechromed.
