I have a Thirty (6G series, very similar to an R4) and am thinking about converting it to electric start. It does not have a ring gear on the flywheel. Can a ring gear be put on the present flywheel and if so, where can I get one? If I get past that hurdle, are starters available and where can I get one?

I would probably be interested, if I can get a ring gear. Also I still don't know if I can put the appropriate ring gear on the flywheel I have or if I need a different flywheel. Can anyone provide that info?

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
