Thanks Deas.
There is not much wear on the bushing the sprocket turns but the track is at its maximum length of adjustment. So the pins and bushing must be wore out.
Hopefully I can get to it next week.
BCguide -- "not much wear on the bushing the sprocket turns" Are you saying the sprocket has no wobble? Sprocket rides on tapered roller bearings, no way to check that without having the track off of the sprocket. Take you phone camera and take a picture of the bushings - the piece that rides on the sprocket teeth. You can also feel it to see how badly it is flattened on both front and rear sides. You will not be able to see PIN wear. Often sprocket will wear through the bushings and show the pins, way beyond fixing that with any track adjustment! -- cts
The bushing are still pretty much round.
Rhe internal pins are worn out
bcbuide -- How do you determine the pins are worn out when they are not visible?
Brochure from Holt showing how the track rails and pins are put in place. Hope this helps. cts
