i have seen a few pics of a gas 35 and never one in person. i was wondering if a late model split head 30 and a gas 35 have the same basic engine? from the pics a 35 looks to have the same exhaust and intake manifold as well as heatbox. water pump, mag location, plug wire tube, and several other things look identical. just curious. have a blessed day, eric

I have a 30 with a 35 motor in it. I also have a 30 with a 30 motor in it. I will see if I can get a picture of them. They are packed away in storage
