it looks like old magnet, ozdozer, bruce and others are correct and i am the
one wrong. all the information i find in manuals refer to white smoke as being
a problem with fuel or water. i do not agree with this but it appears to be the
industry standard which i cannot argue!
i have talked to several mechanics who apply this for a living and they tell me
white smoke is water. three of them i work with, the one answered my
question with a question, is it possible to make white smoke? my thoughts
exactly. what i was looking for is a partially combusted hydrocarbon as viewed
through the spectrum of light, compared to H2O viewed through the spectrum
of light. this is all irrelevant though, for the sake of conversation here on the
board one needs to follow the industry standard.
i must apologize, i was thinking way to scientific and not practical.
