I'm finally building my new shop and was curious what experience was out there regarding floor sealer.
Floor is 7" of 5000 lb concrete. Trying to figure out what would be the best sealer for new concrete so it's easier to keep clean.

Check with Sherwin Williams, they have special products for floors.

Trowel finish (like Lowe's and HD) is a first step, then apply sealer. Smoother surface makes it easier to keep clean.

I used a product 20 years ago called Cure Seal, it is applied immediately after the concrete finishers are done. Even now I can clean up a used oil stain of the floor with a rag and some gas.

Be careful about the concrete dryness spec. The coating requires. We put down some really expensive epoxy on a new floor at work that pealed up in sheets because the floor hadn’t finished curing. Something like Steve A is talking about sounds perfect to me.

epoxy coatings have to be low modulus(Flexible) so they wont expand differently from the concrete--we had a big problem on bridge decks until we swithched
