hi all.
i have a 62 933f s#42A1750 track loader i had some issues with.
old magnet and a few other Amoco members have helped me get it lined out and running good.
however i don't have a service manual yet and i need to check all the fluids
before i start using it for real this summer

i know the usual things like oil level
and grease fittings
but im sure there are some things i should know about but don't right off hand.this is my first Caterpillar and i know they do things a lil different.

what should i check and what should i put in it? at what level? i know not all will have a dipstick
i know about oil in engine im currently using rotella 15/40wt
i think the trans is gear oil it smells like it i have some 90/140 wt i can put in there
i guess i need to know about hydro oil level and the final gear oil and the 6 or so grease fittings in the floor cover plate for starters and anything any one can add
will be appreciated
thanks
Charlie

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
