Not to hijack a thread on old big power units but I
Know the RM 180 was in A scraper but did they put it in a generator?
I was at another dealer for a class and as I am old and the instructor was old we injoyed talking about old stuff, allowed the younger techs to catch up in faceless book twitter bird etc
Can’t miss any posting you know mit be something important you see.

But Another friend that knows said the RM 180 was a 90 deg V but a chief engineer At cat standerzied to a 60 deg V except for the much Loved 3208
Any history thoughts etc? Except of course about the 5 gallon bucket of 3/8 bolts that healed the top end together..on the old beast

I still like to find a home for the D364 here it’s in too nice of shape to go in the landfill which is where it’s headed...
