I'm looking at mounting a PTO style pump on the rear of my D4, I wondered if anyone had any pics of mounts and such? I has one on it now but it's a cobbled up mess!

Give me some ideas and your thoughts..............

Be-Ge pumps are pretty common here. Usually a single or dual valve, I think I’ve seen a couple of triples also. I saw a D4 4G? on CL that looks like it had a CAT #41 on the rear. I can take a few pictures when I can remember where I parked some of my D4s.
Here are some old pictures. A D4C, a D5SA and my former 17A.

This is the way we did it on a D2 4U to create a 2 double valve system.
Also posible to take the pump off and use the pto.

Thanks guys! The BeGe pumps arent to plentiful at all in my area, so i'll have to use a different style pump, much like a Farmhand or TRW.. Th difficult thing is making a mount and having it look sano...I can build just about anything, i just need some pics of other mounts and pumps to gather ideas from..

If anyone else has pics, please share, the ideas are coming together. TIA

That's not a BeGe pump. I believe that's a Prince Hydraulic pump, quite popular for PTO drive application. Other than just hanging it on the PTO shaft it requires a torque arm anchoring. Usually a chain and some type of bracket.

Here is another idea for you. I made this set up for my D-2 and it works great. One bolt and the pump slides right off.

Great! The D2 mount is what i was thinking and also the 9U looks good also... I have both style pumps, the Prince type needs an over haul tho...I like the clean looks of the mounts.
Thanks! More pics please, i'd like weigh all my options.

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
