I cant get re hooked up on the other site "acme". I changed my ISP and consequently had to change my e mail adress also. I figured that the proper thing to do would be to make the change in my profile. Now they let me log on and it recognizes me but I cant post or put up new threads. Did anyone else have problems like this lately?

You probably have to completely re-register from scratch like your a new person with a different handle. There should be the instructions there on their front page as how to register again. If you still have problems check in with Joe Black to get you going again.

egoman - Contact Joe Black at .. joe (at) antiquecaterpillar.org .. (insert the @ sign in the appropriate place) and he will be able to sort out your problem. The registration process is screwed down pretty tight to prevent spammers and scammers getting through, and Joe has his work cut out, trying to pick the sleazebags that slip through. As a result, the process can become slow, and bugs in registration can develop .. and changing email addresses can also be another reason for problems developing in the system. I'm sure Joe will be able to assist.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
