I must be doing something wrong . In the library I can not find the crank shaft spec for the D2 pony measurements, Both main and rods. I need to have it ground.
This is on a 5u79....  Serial # machine. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Look up D311 in the Library.  The service manual for the engine has the specifications for both the main and starting engines.

You're right - I'm not finding the Serviceman's Reference in the Library either. If it's there, it should really be at the top of the document list, along with the Parts Catalog and Operator's Instructions.
The D311 reference is there and it has the specifications as Cat Yellow wrote, but it's a surprise that we don't have the common D2 Serviceman's Reference. We'll need to get that scanned and loaded

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
