Can anyone tell me what this pony motor is from?

It is a 2 cylinder. I am thinking a late D8?

It is for sale BTW.

Thanks,

John

Does look like a "buzz bomb" pony motor. More familiar with viewing the other side...

Buzz bomb for sure right side mounting is a big first clue. I believe my D4C has a straight carb intake pipe. Could also be D6B six cylinder from same era. I like the electric start.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
