Most, but not all of the you tube videos showing pony motor start, make me cringe. They don't have a clue on how to do it. They just throw in the clutch and start squirting either.

And turn the diesel over with compression off and the throttle open filling the cylinders with fuel. Dumb! Dumb! Dumb! Or turn the diesel over on compression for two seconds when its cold out and hold the throttle wide open expecting it to start right up Duh! Even electric start tractors, they hold the glow plugs on, if they even work, for ten seconds and expect it to just start right up. Chug chug chug spit cough cough spit chug cough..............
